Camping with the whole family

Camping de Kooi is a nice family campsite centrally situated on the island of Terschelling. During the high season ( mid July to mid August) the campsite is most suitable for families with young children ( under the age of 14). The camping is lovely located between forest, dunes and meadows. Not only the campsite itself, but also the surrounding offer you and your children many possiblities to enjoy themselves. During the high season several nice activities are organised for old and young. We classify the camping fields according the age of the children so that they make new friends easily and the rhythms are alike. We are happy to advise you in choosing the right spot.

The campground

The grounds are left open in the middle for sport and games. There are also two nice playgrounds and two volleyballfields. the campsite is free of cars, except for the day of arrival and of departure to load und unload the camping gear. Camping with your own equipment

There’s nothing like camping with your own tent, caravan or motorhome. De Kooi is a touristic campsite without static caravans. Dogs are permitted, but have to be leashed and child friendly. The true camper will truly feel at home at our beautiful campsite. There are camping sites with and without electricity and they vary from cosy and sheltered to spacious with a wide view. Let us therefore know your wishes when you want to make a reservation and we will incorporate them in your camping site as well as possible.
